Excellent, quiet location with stunning views of open fields and beautiful sunsets. Thoughtful touches like fresh cherries and roses, plus a well-equipped room with a comfy sofa and great selection of DVDs. Bathroom is lovely, although hot water for a long soak was limited. Fantastic retreat for a countryside break.

The rooms at this hotel were extremely comfortable, with a cozy bed and luxurious ensuite facilities. I loved being able to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the room, and the option to have breakfast outside was a great touch. The desk in the room was also convenient for those needing to get some work done.
While overall my experience was great, there were a couple of minor issues. the pre-arranged special occasion surprise wasn't prepared as expected, which was a bit disappointing.

The location of the hotel was perfect, offering a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It was not far from the town but still far enough to provide a quiet atmosphere. the room was nicely set up with great attention to detail, including a large, luxurious bathroom and a comfortable bed. the personal touch of a private outside garden was a delightful bonus.
This made me feel a little uncomfortable, like I was trespassing.

Great location for activities, although lacking in nearby dining options. Takeaway option available. Relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those who prefer no stairs. Lovely view of fields and wildlife, with beautiful sunsets in the west and private garden for morning breakfasts. Impeccably clean with modern amenities, including a luxurious bathtub. Excellent communication and welcoming service from Teresa. Would happily return for leisure purposes.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! From the peaceful country setting to the castle tower accommodation, it was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The high-end fittings and spotlessly clean rooms added a touch of luxury, and the luxurious bath was the best I've seen in the UK. The communication with the owner was excellent, ensuring a hassle-free stay. Plus, the delicious breakfast and thoughtful little extras in the room made it even more special. This hotel truly exceeded all expectations!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The lodge was warm and cosy, perfect for the cold weather. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the lodge and the private garden. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and the bathroom was lovely with bubble bath provided.
Additionally, there was a constant presence of a big fly that bothered us during our stay, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our meals.

I had the most wonderful stay at a hidden gem in the countryside. I was captivated by the quiet surroundings and beautifully designed accommodations. The attention to detail was perfect, with a comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, and even a desk for me to work on. But what took my breath away was the view of the sunset across the fine landscape. I was able to enjoy a delicious breakfast outside, soaking in the tranquility of the location. The owners were thoughtful, providing complete privacy but always available when needed. I can't wait to return to this idyllic retreat. I highly recommend this place for a nice and peaceful escape.

The suite was beautifully decorated and felt like a luxurious treat. The bathroom was immaculate and the separate shower and large bathtub were a highlight. The little kitchenette was well-equipped with a coffee machine and fresh coffee, making it convenient to have a hot drink whenever I wanted.
The strict policy of not allowing visitors made it feel a bit restrictive and I missed the opportunity to have my family over during my stay. the confusion regarding the breakfast pricing was frustrating.
